We all know our electronic devices are listening. They are keeping track of every click and all the words we write, in order that companies like Facebook and Google can try to sell us stuff. My husband deals with it by going through periodically and eliminating his interests in Facebook settings, (over time FB will decide he is interested in X and start creating a new interest list for him). He also marks all ads as irrelevant. Consequently, he gets ads for some pretty weird junk sometimes. Weird as in we aren’t even sure what it is. Me? In principle, I dislike the idea of being monitored and using my interests to entice me to buy stuff. That said however, I’ve pretty much taken the opposite approach to my husband. I don’t try to fight it. And now, the Facebook ads algorithm has my bohemian number.
They introduced me to Fairy Look Dress this past week. I will say upfront, I am not affiliated, but I really wish I was.
I’m sharing my favorite skirts and dresses.
And yes, I did copy these photos from their site. I hope they are down with the free advertising.
I haven’t ordered anything (yet), because it would require making a decision.
It is likely I will order from them eventually, but at the moment I am savoring the anticipation at making that choice. I haven’t even looked at tops yet.
This extensive collection of work has also allowed me to better analyze what it is specifically that I like about this style. First, it is the often vibrant colors used. I already knew that about myself. The second characteristic that draws me to this look is the embellishment that most pieces possess. The cool thing about that? Embellishment is something I can add to the clothing I already have. And my mind is spinning with the possibilities.
Here is a list of blogs where I link up.
The companies with which I have affiliated myself are companies with whom I have actually done business. Therefore, I can make these recommendations based on my positive experiences.
