Welcome to Creative Compulsions Link Up #35!
I have had a couple of nice finishes this past week – 2 elephant quilt blocks, and a baby afghan for Project Linus – but I need to make the time to write the posts. And there is the dilemma: the time balance between creating vs blogging about creating. Do you have the same struggle?
Creative Compulsions Link Up Party Guidelines
Here is the opportunity to share your creative endeavors – paintings, drawings, afghans, quilts, clothes, jewelry, stained glass, upcycling, photography etc. The only criteria is that you made it yourself. It doesn’t have to be finished – share during your process and update in the weeks to come. Please share actual projects that you have done or are working on, not just tutorials about what you’d like to do. No recipes please.
You can share anything on the Internet – blogs (mostly what I will be sharing); Instagram, Facebook and Twitter posts; pictures; and YouTube videos. The only requirement is that it be of something you’ve created. I will delete entries that don’t adhere to this criteria.
The party opens at 4AM PST on Thursday, and closes at 11:55 PM, Sunday. You may share as many projects as you like during that time. I would appreciate if you would post a link to the blog party when linking in order to spread the love. Please, take a look at what others have shared. We all love receiving comments.

That Dresden Flower top is gorgeous! And you are so close to finishing it, I don’t blame you for making it the priority.
Amen! It’s a fine balance between all the things, and I often don’t hit the right mix. So I just let the cleaning go and ignore the dust bunnies! Hey, it works for me.
LOL! Yeah, the housework is often the last thing on my list!
Oh yes I know what you mean. It is helpful to be a post or 2 ahead. Then you can work on it as your work progresses. I learned how to multi task blog when I became an IBA. Thank you for the linky parry.
Thanks so much for linking up, Denise! I always love seeing your beautiful quilts.
Yes! The struggle is real. Eventually you will find balance… or, like me, blog when you want to share the whole story and share on social media when it a little smaller. Good luck.
It’s tricky! I can see what you mean about doing the small updates on social media.
Yes! It’s a struggle to make time for all my hobbies!
The struggle is real!
